  1. You're removing what now?
  2. Tony Romo is a good quarterback. Plus we wouldn't want any Dallas Stars players since Lindy has already ruined them all by beating them with sticks in practice. Amirite?
  3. It's the most Bills thing the franchise can do. You know we are going to hire some established (read: old) coach that has won a Super Bowl before. i.e. Jeff Fischer.
  4. Don't you have some bruises to go ice? :nana: PS: You know I kid. Your contributions are welcome just as much as LGR's gif parade or Angry Eleven PPS: In no way do I mean to insinuate that the bruises are the result of domestic violence so please don't call the cops on D4rk. They are most certainly from crazy circus acts. Again, not D4rk. ;)
  5. You mean you don't have to run outside ahead of time and turn on the car and set the defrosters? What is this the Jetsons?! Serves me right for insisting on owning my car by buying older model vehicles.
  6. See TrueBlue's comment above. If Tyrod is on IR/injured when next year rolls around, his ~$27MM option year automatically kicks in as he is protected from getting cut due to injury, or somesuch.
  7. I would agree in a normal situation, but if Tyrod gets hurt and that injury lingers through to the next league year (summer 2017) then we lose the decision point on the really expensive option year next year. Not worth the risk. IMO
  8. Surprisingly that does make me feel better. So more of a "we can't start TT because if he gets hurt we're screwed" type of move?
  9. Well let's hope that guy is wrong. Specifically on the EJ starting thing.
  10. I agree that these are the guys coming out. Guhle has to because he was an emergency call up (IIRC), and I think Falk is the other low man. Either way, just having Kulikov back will be a huge help since Risto/McCabe don't need to eat up 30 min a game.
  11. I was just going to post this. Sounds like the "Uber in Buffalo" movement is gaining a lot of traction in the last few months, and the voices for it are now much louder than the taxi companies argument against. Coming soon (hopefully).
  12. Sadly, by all reports, Jones is nowhere near being ready and is truly a project. I think there is a 0% chance that they bench Tyrod and play anyone else with eyes on the future. Rex needs every win to convince Pegula there is positive improvement and to keep him on another year.
  13. I have a similar experience of a guy who brushes his teeth every afternoon after lunch in the bathroom sink. It would not normally be weird, but the way the bathroom is set up the sink and the urinal are a foot away from each other and its always off-putting when i'm pissing when he is toothbrushing a foot to my right. Also, the odds of washing hands significantly increases when there are other people in the bathroom. If there's nobody there to see you be a slob, people tend to skip it. Actually getting fired now would be better. Instead of quitting, being fired would entitle you to collect unemployment!
  14. Yes. That bit was funny the first time as a parody of the celebrity section of Top Gear. Now that it is apparent that they will not be actually doing a segment, it should just go away and be replaced with actual car testing or something. Other than that I still like the show, but then again I would watch re-runs of Top Gear on BBC all day.
  15. John Scott remains one of my favorite people that we have gotten to know in sports. Knows he was very lucky to have a career and seemed to love every second he got to spend with the guys. Hated his hockey talent, loved the person and personality behind it.
  16. So 5 games (20min per) instead of 3 games? Still a small sample size.
  17. Too fast to even attempt a deflection? I don't know but it is a good observation.
  18. Pitchforks and torches, man.
  19. Agreed. I mentioned it a few GDT's ago, but pairing Risto with McCabe has allowed both of thier games to flourish. Both players are taking charge and playing with confidence, which has allowed them to truly utilize their skills in the offensive zone on pinches and activations. Risto is developing very nicely for a 22 yr old, and last night that shot was ah-may-zing
  20. The key is if we can consistently demonstrate the ability to win games like that, then the Sabres are on their way to becoming a "good" team. We're not their yet.
  21. And is usually what separates good teams from middling teams. The really good teams find ways to win when they don't have their best game, where the bad teams only win when they play at their best.
  22. All we need in Buffalo is selective viewing and we're good, right? I can't either - I either spend time creating a post and miss what just happened or post something at intermission that happened 30 minutes ago.
  23. Hey guys - we made a last minute comeback with sustained 6 on 5 zone pressure. We haven't done that consistently since the Drury days. I miss that. And once we tied it, we kept the pressure on and had another good shift to piggyback off the previous one, drawing a key penalty. That Risto slapshot was a thing of beauty, absolutely crushed and top corner. The excitement of the last 5 minutes of the game (3rd and OT) more than made up for the lack of energy in the 2nd and early 3rd. Sports is fun for the unpredictability, and that's what we got last night.
