  1. The Sabres looked like hot garbage in the last 5 minutes of the first. Barkov line killed us there
  2. I think he has looked good for a 20 game rookie, and has some potential there, but by no means does that mean he should be getting 1st line minutes. But he has not looked out of place so far.
  3. Looks like I will have to re-take Kindergarten after all
  4. You cant really argue with that logic...
  5. Do those lines actually make sense for once? I don't believe it! Only issue is long term we need to find a better RW for the ROR line than Foligno. I don't think he has it in him.
  6. Updating with Line at Sabres +135.
  7. Homewood Suites is Hilton yes - and my personal favorite while I was working (can't beat free dinner = I get to pocket the food per diem) I really like the Marriot's hotel bar. It's a few floors up and is very nice and has great views of canalside. Plus after Sabres games it is much quieter than the insanity that is 716. It's our little secret that I don't mind sharing with you all.
  8. At $1,765. I'm putting four units on the Sabres tonight, pending whatever line is posted. Feeling a big win tonight.
  9. here's hoping that the Sabres come into this game fresh and have their legs back, and show some of that goal scoring from a few games back. That and the situation in Florida with their GM/coach should prove to be a distraction for them in the short term. Time to pounce on them. Looking for a good game from the 3rd line now that Kane has been added there. me likey :)
  10. I think part of all this concern is the way we went about acquiring both Samson and Eichel was so painful for the fanbase, that we want to see immediate returns from our suffering. We forget that these are 19 and 20 yr old players, and the amazing ability of Eichel to be a difference maker day 1 has skewed our expectations of young players into unrealistic territory. Reinhart's development is exactly in line with how a young high pick should be, as he is #4 in points on the team and a key contributor as a 2nd year player. We as a fanbase cannot hold him up to the same standard as Eichel, who is a elite generational talent and has deviated completely from the standard development tree. Give it time, and see where we are when our #2 picks are in their primes as 25 yr old players.
  11. Sorry Qwk, but the Witch was a little too indie/period piece specific for my liking. I can appreciate the authenticity, but it was far too slow paced for my liking. That and I had a sick wife who just wanted to be entertained, and she was decidedly not.
  12. The Courtyard is a Marriott brand. The Hilton brand hotels are the Garden Inn on Court in Lafayette Square, the Hampton Inn on Chippewa and the Embassy Suites on Delaware.
  13. I too like those lines. Kane on the third line (!!!) - my dream come true. I'm going to assume that was an autocorrect of "LWs". In which case I agree.
  14. I'll have to check it out - plus it looks like it is included in Prime Video :w00t: I guess I know what I'm watching tonight.
  15. Agreed it was much worse and not really all that interesting. I liked Reservior Dogs well enough, but the concept didn't need to be re-done in a different setting.
  16. The key point is that Denver is #1 in DVOA. I would argue that the Bills were built around the concept of being a top 10 defense at least. If Rex and Co. had delivered on that promise, then we would be comfortably in the playoffs and talking about upcoming match-ups and the surprising effectiveness of the Offense. The Defense has obviously not lived up to expectations, and as such has us looking at another ~.500 season. 10th in Offensive DVOA is way more effective than I expected at the start of the year, and certainly good enough to be a playoff team.
  17. I never even thought that someone wouldn't know what AMA is. Must be a generational thing.
  18. The Mrs. and I watched the Lobster last night (yay Prime Video), and I thought it was quite good, if a little odd. Unfortunately that's the only movie in your top 10 i've seen this year :(
  19. Saw that the other day and it was just a western version of reservoir dogs. then again I've never much liked Tarentino.
  20. It was just a different brand of misery than the batch that Tyrod and Rex give us each week. Untimely interceptions = missing wide open WR's over the middle, instead running to the sideline out of bounds to take a 2 yard sack
  21. Funny, I try to avoid urinal conversations if at all possible. Again not seeing the benefit there.
  22. I know it sounds great and all, but I just can't fully comprehend the logistics of it all, and how that would be beneficial to said individual.
  23. If this situation were to occur, I am particularly worried at how Europe and the United States will react given their own tensions and charged emotions domestically. I think a lot of these areas are the least prepared they have been to deal with a global conflict in a long time.
  24. Sorry I forgot who our coach is :bag:
