You offer up your keister (symbolically I hope lol) and then follow it up with excuses and hope for the status quo of this team. By most things I have read in your posts that is the thing you say myself and others that don't insta-hate on Ruff/Regier do. I am not saying your being a apologist, a realiest, or even Gailey/Nix's fluffer. I am simply saying I think you have a huge blind spot where these 2 and this team are concerned. As for the Cardinal game I would give it a 30% chance they win the game and play it good. I give them that high of odds only cause it is the cards and they have a history of bad games. The result of this weeks game will not change what this team is, even if Fitz throws for 450 yards and 5 TD and our 100 million dollar man has 6 sacks. This will still be a team with a inaccruate inconsistant qb with a defense that either has horribly overrated/overpayed players or a scheme and coach that needs to be shown the door

they gave up 48 points to the Jets, won against 2 teams slightly crappier then them, If your definition of ultimate respect is he didnt take them lightly or go on a charlie sheen type bender on friday and saturday before facing them then yes I agree he respected them in a ultimate fashion

I fall to see how not going for it on 4th early in the game shows respect. Too me that simply shows confidence in your defense. Also i seriously doubt Billy was remotely nervous in facing the Bills, if anything he was nervous about being 1-3 considering how they had lost some games previously. I am sorry Drane but I think your guilty of the very things you claim myself and others do with the sabres. You can put all the toppings and flavors you want on this but it's still a crap sandwich

Patriots needed half a game to blow us out, 49ers are treating us like their bitch on both sides of the ball, and the Jets who suck shredded our defense..... How is this even remotely a good team that can make people think they can win? I thought dave wannstedt was suppose to improve this defense and make all this talent we have on that side of the ball work.... instead we are still setting records for crappy defense. funny bit of info, check out dave's wiki page. Someone has already got it edited to reflect his ability in his current job.

I will say this, before the previous lockout i watched nearly every nhl game on tv, after the previous lockout i watched every sabres game and most playoff games. I wonder what will happen after this one.

If they lose the season this league is dead in the US. Your already the only major sport league to lose a whole season to a lockout and now you double down on that....... I don't see corporate sponsers coming back nor fairweather fans shelling out money with a track record that bad. IMHO losing the season puts the NHL back to the pre Gretzky days in the USA

I know some people there that do and they want a NHL team bad... I just recall like no professional teams making it there other then the SHawks and being the NFL I am not sure they should count as it is almost impossible to not make it in a market in the NFL My point is just that I don't see it as a obviously more profitable city then where any of the teams are now

2 of my personal favorite texts/twits. one was reported on espn that a packer tweeted "just got ###### by the refs thanks NFL" the other is by a friend of mine that is a SHawks fan it went like this WOW what a catch no that shoulda been a INT well there was a lot of bad calls it kinda evened it out well no not really the other bad calls didn't give the win to one of the teams after the super bowl calls they deserved this wow and I though us buffaloians held grudges

If you increase the spread of the min and max cap you are gonna make this the MLB with the haves and the have nots dividing the league. Out of curisoty what are this "other more profitable" markets you could move this have not teams to? I always hear the same cities Seattle (major league sport hell), Kansas (didn't hockey fail there once?) Quebic (yes i know it's spelled wrong and I don't care), and a 2nd toronto team (great another team to take money from the sabres)
