nothing is more team building then winning. I really don't understand the attacks people do on Ruff about stuff like this. This is the same coach that after his captain got blindsided sent out his fighters to beat up whatever players where sent out. Ruff believes in controlled aggression and the old hockey saying "get his jersey number".

Kassian is no more aggresive then stafford. the only major differences in their physical games is Kassian is more willing to fight (think he was told he had to on the first line) and is better at shielding the puck. neither is that great of a hitter and kassian is certainly a dirtier hitter. Anyone that compares CoHo to Adams centering the top line favorably for Adams is either related to Adams, smoking crack, trolling, or clueless on hockey. I remember watching Adams center that top line and he lucked into some points was generally out of position in most zones and was carried by his wingers. CoHo by comparison has struggled in defensive coverage against teams top players lucked into a couple goals been involved in the play with his wingers and opened up chances for his wingers. To go online gaming nerd I would say Adams on the top line proced a buff that decreased that lines nuke strength. Where as CoHo proced the buff that increased the nuke strength.

I wonder and kinda hope McNabbs struggles are just him still recovering from the concussion last season. I mean if it is then it's worrisome that he has this a year later but at least it would be better then him just regressing.

Drew was bracing for contact with Dougie. For some reason instead of also bracing for contact Dougie got lower for a pokecheck and put his jaw into the area of contact. The elbow coming out was just the result of the expected contact. Also Dougie clearly embellessed trying to draw a penality. Having said this I still wouldnt be surprised to see a 1 game suspension.

Right cause the coach in the modern NHL that says I don't give a damn if we lose I want you to go out and goon it up as payback will keep his job

the only thing i can figure is he has been playing alot of NHL13 during the lockout and is use to the poke check being the only useful weapon in that situation..............

He hustled, he made the unnoticed plays (him and folngo played very similar games to me), and don't forget he outmuscled that whining little rat off the puck to clear it during that lines domination of the 2nd period. Myers had some really good plays and far to many WTF i'm gonna break my TV moments. He needs to be in the press box for a game at worse or demoted to 3rd pairing and lowest minutes for a game or 2 so he can get his head right. Leopold........... He played ok at times. He sucked balls at the same times as Myers so I am not willing to just blame him alone, maybe it was Myers making him look horrible. To be fair CoHo has been making bad plays defensivily against some really good offensive players. I think that will work its self out with some time with Pommer

No to Folingo with a C or A on his sweater right now. I would rather Pommer make him his go to guy on things so that the team starts seeing him as a leader and it lets Foligno works his way into a leadership role instead.

Sekera played with Myers some last year also. Was some of 44s worst games. Myers needs a partner that is simply in the right spot alot (Tallinder) the closest we have to that is Sulzer. As bad as Sulzer played tonight and as bad as he made Erhoff look I say put thous 2 togther and give them 10 minutes the next game or 2

I know I have been harsh on Weber the past year............ Good game by him. He was at the least the 3rd best defenseman on the roster and at best 2nd best tonight. Granted when Myers, Lepold, and Sulzer are the 3 below ya it don't sound as good considering the games they played. But I was impressed with Weber tonight he made me remember why I liked his game originally. Also I think the worst thing that could be done would be to put Myers with Sekera. Myers is dragging his Dpartners down and Sekera is playing good. I say sit Myers or make him 3rd pair with Sulzer for a game or 2
