Hasek is now a Sabres HoFer. the question is now what jersey is going in the rafters for his number retirement? I think it has to be the black and red.

I have heard of the thread. It might even be the one thread i still read when the 3 bajillon sabres threads are completely unreadable. However the only thing I have seen about Mr Neal there is discussion on how the length of suspensions are BS. IMO this deserved it's own thread because it will simply get buried in the inane conversations that seem to clutter up that thread. A former NHL ref is calling out the league, supplemental discipline and the NHL rulebook. That is new thread worthy.

I think a Hossa buyout is likely. there should be a handful of amnesty buyouts this summer and the odds of them picking up someone cheaper is high i think.

You can't say pat has been silenced and claim he walked away from a job he didn't need the money from. The reports are all saying he signed the NDA after resigning and as part of that agreement he is being paid. Well if he really didn't need it he could have walked without signing it, or demanded the reason for his resignation not be covered under it. I see it as either he is OK with not having his side be heard, wants this hushed and buried, or feels there is nothing to be gained by airing this publicly.
