Interesting lines. Expecting the move to C will be permanent for Thompson. Maybe he becomes Oposo's C? Also, you seem to have forgotten Skinner. Doubt they're able to punt him into the sun next year. Maybe he takes Thompson's spot on the Cozens line?

So, the shoe finally dropped. What does Granato do now with his shiny new toy Krebs & the one he has to wait until after the All-Star / Olympic break (Tuch)? Until Mittelstadt comes back, might expect something along the lines of: Asplund - Thompson - Olofsson Girgensons - Eakin - Okposo Skinner - Krebs - Hinostroza Caggiula - Ruotsalainen - Cozens With Bjork & Hayden on the outside looking in. (Could see Vinny & Dylan flipping roles.) When Mittelstadt comes back: Skinner - Mittelstadt - Hinostroza/Cozens Girgensons - Eakin - Okposo Asplund - Thompson - Olofsson Caggiula - Krebs - Cozens/ Ruotsalainen (Could see Vinny on top line or outside looking in depending on whether Cozens gets out of his sophomore slump.) When Tuch comes back, he plays with Mittelstadt & either R2 Rou2 or Cozens join Hinostroza on the outside looking in. In 2 years, those lines (minus the checking line which will be too old) will likely look good & Cozens may have worked himself back to C. But for right now, they're pretty thin & very reliant on a young Casey. Thoughts? What would your lines be?

Pretty sure the bolded is why Vegas was targeted as a trade partner. Tuch has that reputation as well.

Usually one waits for at least 1 of them to actually be in the lineup before declaring that. 😉 (Maybe there's enough time for Krebs to get cross continent & through customs, so maybe the era does start tonight. But expecting Saturday is the actual start date.)

If they skate like they did in the 3rd and clean up the mistakes they should win tonight. Play like they did in LA & Tokarski will have another long night.

Weird flow to the game. Amerks dominated early but couldn't score and then Bellville dominated a long stretch. Third seemed pretty even. Both teams PP's did damage. Dell is a good AHL goalie. That shot of Quinn's is deadly. Nice to have a sniper getting seasoned down there. Especially if he can bring that 200' game to the NHL. Guess Adams did his homework on him after all.

Considering there is no current way to watch the Bandits regularly over cable/satellite, really hoping they don't have "blackouts." Of course, am in what would be the Kin-ig-hit Hawks market, so it likely won't matter. 🍺

IF they trade Trubisky there had better be at least 2 1sts and a QB coming back. That boy is home field advantage insurance & w/ only 1 bye, that's a highly valuable policy.

Yep. Difference was, none of the other team's players that should've been out actually were out. (Until after that game that is.) That actually was the pebble that really started to pick up velocity leading to last year's avalanche.

Apparently her conversion happened ~2001 around the time she divorced Ted Turner. (Who apparently found Christianity -~2013.) That WS was back in '92. She was still devoutly anti-religious back then.

They might be tired. If they are, then Granato's strategy appears to be unsustainable. They can't be gassed 3 weeks into a 26 week slog. Hoping it's more a case of other teams finally starting to view them as NHLers. Which leaves this a long season, but still allows for hope when there is more talent throughout the lineup. (A fair amount of which will arrive simply by these kids being a year or 2-3 older.) But, if that's the case, hope the Pegulas budgeted for 8,000 strong crowds for the foreseeable future (once the border reopens; 4-5,000 until then). At least the next team up is the Snarks. They tend to cure a lot of Sabres ills.

4th game in a row they've had either a bad 2nd period, 3rd period, or on multiple occasions both. They need to find a way to keep the early intensity up. They pretty much ALWAYS beat the Snarks. Regardless of how good or bad either team is, the Sabres win that matchup way more often than not. That's been the "get to 0.500" game since they beat the Ducks. The other 2 were the get some breathing room over a playoff pace games because they'll definitely need it when they finally hit a stretch if good teams.

The Fish was further over the line than Edmunds was. The only request is that they call it consistently. That was apparently too much to ask for this afternoon.

26th year here. Our next Trick or Treater will be our 1st.

Close, but not quite. He missed 1 game w/ the leg injury that continued hampering him until the shutdown. Can seeing playing close to full seasons after he resumes playing, he's done that 2-3 times depending on the definition of "close", but would be mildly surprised if he ever plays a full 82.
