The games are also available for watching even after the game date as well. (Not sure how far you can go back, but it is an option for a while at least.) Plus, you get all the Bandits & other box lacrosse games & a ton of college sports. IMHO, ESPN+ is definitely worth the price. Picture is very slightly fuzzy (at least vs the 4K) but not distracting. Also, haven't had issues w/ freezing up. It's worth the money IMHO.

The 2 seats in the 4th row & the 4 seats in the 5th row next to the tunnel back to the dressing room were completely surrounded by seats with black cloth over them. Looked like 3 seats on the other side of the tunnel were blocked off too for no apparent reason. Didn't see any others blocked off anywhere. The cloth looked to be the same they used to go with to cover for Larry Quinn's oopsing the ADA requirements for "equivalent seating" options for handicapped seating they used to use.

Am partial to Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing & Marie's Super Blue Cheese Dressing, but Ken's is a solid #2. If you're stuck w/ the Sysco restaurant blue cheese, try adding a little black pepper to it. Makes it much more palatable.

Any word on how many other NHL teams are actually utilizing the taxi squads? Hopefully they all are, because the Amerks are pretty much decimated at this moment in time.

So, the Sabres with having had the opportunity to work off their own rust, might actually have the edge against these guys? Cool. Will expect Subban between the pipes, hopefully he's up to the task. Take it to 'em boys. Run roughshod up & down the Aisles.

Never saw a hockey game in Dallas, but saw 2 preseason games in the old Summit a couple of hours away from you. Also saw the Kings beat the Stars in the Staples Center. THAT was satisfying about 3 years after that horrible travesty in Buffalo. Turns out Kings fans hated Dallas, too.

Being at the game & not being forced to watch just what the producer asked the camera crew to show got to watch Krebs a bit. Actually liked his game a lot more in person than watching his play in Ra-cha-cha. When the play was behind him, which wasn't often, he hustled back hard. He seemed to have a knack for knowing where the puck is going & getting there. He also is quicker than I'd realized. He's not Peterka, but his quickness was noticable. It seemed to come from the section near the Sabres FO circle. A couple of ushers came down & talked to people, but didn't look like the culprit got kicked out.

THAT'S what was thrown at UPL? We couldn't figure it out. Seemed like some sort of plastic cup that shattered from where we were. 🍺

Was at that one. Fun times. Have never seen one quite like that one before or since.

Was over 6k in the building IMHO. Not sure if this one or the Roswell ticket splurge for HFC night had the bigger crowd. But both were huge by this season's standard. Q for @Brawndo: was it an NHL thing to have a buffer of blanked off seats around the team's doctor's usual seats, a Sabres thing, or on Erie County/ NYS? Had not noticed it any of the earlier games this season. Thought w/ your background you might know who drove that decision. (Just curious, not a big deal either way.)

Well, the F lines had to be adjusted to cover for Murray's absence for 17 minutes. After he was available the lines went back to how they started. The D was adjusted to still roll 3 pairs, but having either Dahlin or Pysyk taking an extra shift to make sure Butcher & Prow never were on the ice together again after the 1st period.

It was pretty much every kid in the building. Was curious if the sound engineers would've tried to filter it out of the broadcast; guess not. Unfortunately, it starting coincided with the Sabres losing the momentum they'd generated.

So, you see him as a borderline RHD that gets brought in as a favor for the can't miss stud but will end up playing LD primarily because somehow the depth that has been accumulated at that spot is chucked away for no apparent reason & somehow against the odds he actually puts it off but still ends up being underappreciated because he rivals Brind'amour for ugliest mug ever to catch a puck in the mush? Or was that reading too much into it? 😉

He is. Quinn & he have done the most to earn callups. But, if you're not available, that doesn't really matter.

Good to know. Still got very poor results when using it, but maybe it's been a while since last using it. Out of curiosity, when did you upgrade it?

He pretty much revolutionized color commentary. He also revolutionized sports video games. RIP

Eh, probably not watching a game tonight. Will likely either go w/ Spiderman or the new Bond. Will be at Tuch's debut tomorrow. Apparently Peterka & Krebs will debut then, too.

Depending on what Jiricek's injury is, he might wind up being a target if the lottery balls don't fall their way.

Which game? Most of them are archived, but the search function is pretty bad.

Would rather have Cozens in tonight's lineup. But very interested to see what Peterka & Krebs can do.
