Not on the Sabres website. No data on the Canes website. It is on MSG+ (at least in WNY, no data on other areas).
-
DTv is NOT showing it on 635-1. And, for those in WNY it is blacked out on NHLN. The work around is it IS available on the MSG+ app.

When Cozens was sent out against McDavid, he had at least Okposo & IIRC Girgensons too. That helps a lot w/ defensive matchups. Like Krebs instincts in the D zone, but don't trust him to win battles against the other team's top lines. He just doesn't have the strength yet. And, at this point, don't want Peterka going against good offensive opponents because he's still learning what his side of the blue line looks like. He was better about it as the season went on, but early in the year he was leaving his own zone like Skinner on speed. If this were 2 years from now, could see you being right. But today, not seeing it.

What he said. It's not a given that the lines will be different on the road, but with the players being fairly interchangeable at this point & a lot of guys being able to play multiple positions; Granato might be able to tweak lines against different opponents to gain favorable, or avoid unfavorable, matchups.

Maybe you'll get lucky & there'll be rain in the forecast so the prices will come down 80%. Oh, wait, this game is being played in Buffalo & not in Baltimore. Nevermind. π

Because there was an expansion draft underway. And Muckler exposed him to another expansion draft because he's an idiot & had no idea what he had. Which is also why he gave up a ton for Fuhr, who, to Muckler's credit, he did trade away a couple of years later once he'd twigged onto the fact that Hasek was pretty d*mn good.
-
As of right now, it isn't showing up on DTv's 635-1. Expecting it'll be there, sometimes they're slow to update the programming in the guide, but wouldn't lose that internet addy just yet.

You want the official trade or the actual trade?

No offense to him at all, but really hoping he doesn't see any action in Buffalo this year. It's been far too long since this was a 2-3 goalie/ season team & they're due. With Anderson in the top 2, can't see them getting through the year entirely on just 2 goalies. But getting by w/ just 3 would be a step in the right direction. (And won't hold a game or 2 for Levi against them. Pretty sure that's already part of the deal to get him to leave NE as soon as the Huskies season is done.)
-
Exactly. There's a reason the B's rarely send out Bergeron's line against the other team's 4th line. Yes, they could absolutely dominate that, but when they usually outplay &/or dominate their opponent's best line, why waste them there unless it's at the right moment.
-
Expect that either the lines will be juggled a bit on the road or that line will become the clear 4th line with Cozens getting his ice time upped via PK & 2PP & sliding up into the top 9 late in periods, likely taking Quinn's spot in those instances.

No pride injured. Just responding to a flat out untrue narrative. Every time it gets repeated, will counter with the facts to dispel it. And it gets repeated every 3-4 months. Would expect by now that it wouldn't come up that often, but it still does. And, if his history in Czechoslovakia were known, his results wouldn't have been any more surprising than Roy's or Brodeur's.

Analytics guy says donβt believe everything you read about analytics

What play in baseball gets fans of BOTH teams out of their seats? Same question for football & basketball. NO other play in hockey gets fans of both teams out of their seats? How about a penalty shot in a close game? That gets everybody up. The reason other plays don't get fans from both teams up out of their seats is pretty much every other play that is worthy of getting people out of their seats is momentary and has been decided 1 way or the other by the time the excitement has finished building. Nobody gets out of their seat to praise McDavid or Crosby for making their goalie look foolish. The penalty shot & the fight are high emotion events & the outcome is not known when the suspense begins. Which is why everybody gets up (& not just because the idiots in front of them are standing & the people behind them have to stand to see). If there were other in game play events like that, there would be additional reasons for everybody to stand. -
If McKenzie & Crowder both can't go, Hodgins & Austin will both be brought up. If the coaches are comfortable w/ Shakir, Hodgins, or a DB returning punts, then expect Hodgins will be the guy brought up if L'il Dirty is a go. If not, expect we'll see Austin. (Not sure if he's returned punts, he's definitely been a kick off returner.)

Dom was NOT a nobody. He was the best goalie in the 3rd best league in the world 5 years running. He had dominant stats in the AHL & the NHL the handful of opportunities he got at the NHL level. That he had the misfortune of coming over to NA at the same time Belfour was having one of the best rookie seasons of all time & then had the misfortune of Muckler being too dumb to realize what he had did NOT make Hasek a nobody. Was as happy the day the Sabres traded for Hasek as when they traded for Hawerchuk & then LaFontaine. All 3 were special.

Not worried about it. Just curious as to whether it's due to an injury/illness or just wanting to give Hinostroza a tune up before riding the pine until somebody is injured or plays their way out of the lineup.

If it's just light trolling, shouldn't your graphic be the Kraken mascot?

Any word on why Olofsson is getting the night off? Hadn't heard of any injury.
-
Not to nitpick, but ... The 16-15-3 would be an 84-85 point pace over a full season. Mid-80's, not sub-80's. π Season will still come down to Comrie (or UPL) playing like Ullmark/Biron. If he can do it, low 90's is really possible if not likely. If he can do that & 1-2 guys really start to reach their ceiling, playoffs are possible. If he's Hutton and Anderson & UPL are what we've seen before and there's any significant injuries, mid-80's it is.

Gave him to a veteran as a service dog near the end of the season. Same as will happen to this one.

Thank you for that. The league doctor's statement still contradicts what the Fishies' head coach & Tua were saying during the week. https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/miami-dolphins-qb-tua-tagovailoa-health-and-status-still-a-mystery (This was from Monday, but the coach was still saying the same thing later in the week. But didn't save other links. Sorry about that.) Don't know if the doctor was lied to, is lying, somewhere in between or other. But based on what is getting said now, am quite comfortable in saying the Fishies WERE lying. And right now everyone is in CYA mode. Still hoping the silver lining is that they actually put in procedures that at a minimum keep guys from getting 2 concussions on the same day. Don't know that there will be additional responses on this subject; it's exhausting and just don't really have the time nor energy for it. But do appreciate the response. πΊ

Hutton. And the Sabres lost a game they should've won and never did really get back onto the right footing. Not a fan of giving the start to a guy for reasons other than he gives the team the best chance to win. But Granato seems to have a good handle on this team's pulse, so if it happens, it might work. Hoping it does. (Obviously.)
