"Permanent" means for 3 seasons. Expect they could extend that if they want, but my understanding is that 3rds are used for 3 years. It's the Reverse Retros that are only used for the 1 season. Yep. Which is why they have so many different special warmup jerseys. Sell a few hundred of each of those and it adds up to real money quickly.

Still expect there's a significant chance we see Savoie make the team out of TC but only get his 9 games also sliding his ELC contract an extra year. They did that to Quinn and Peterka last year. Your thought that Rousek has a better chance of being a Sabre next year than either of those 2 has merit when the ELC slide gets factored in.

Cheapest seats will be $25/game (remember you have to buy 3 preseason games at that price as well). Cheapest 100 level seats will be $55/game. Most expensive seats will be $135/game for rinkside and $130 in the 200's.

FYI, looking at the pricing on the website, the Sabres will have 3 home preseason games. Which stinks because they aren't NHL hockey but rather 1/2 NHLers and 1/2 AHLers.

For whatever it is worth, Adams just sent an e-mail out to STHers that makes it seem that at most there will be very small tweaks to the roster this week. Talks about building the right way and building to win sustainably. None of that should be surprising. Just putting it out there for whatever it is worth.
