  1. Casey Fitzgerald actually playing tonight for the Swamp Cats. Pretty sure that's his 1st game dressed for them.
  2. Need to score on this PP. C'mon boys make it happen.
  3. Rat Faced Git not coming back with a lower body injury. Good on Krebs.
  4. If UPL tripped the Bruin on that save, Carlo has to get called for interference behind his net. How about some consistency refs? (And by that, beyond gobbing 1 teams knob constantly. THAT has been consistent.)
  5. That 2nd goal, Cozens had seen Jokiharju down low but didn't realize he'd moved over to cover the guy open in the slot. Cozens needed to stay with him as Henri wasn't where he expected him to be.
  6. Big assist on that one to the idiot ref.
  7. No wonder the B's never lose at home. Make a save, get a free tripping call to go with it.
  8. Neither was Bernier in his 1st game either. Hopefully Stillman's play is more sustainable.
  9. What a chance for Peterka. Olofsson had one earlier too. Maybe Krebs will be the guy to bury one for that line tonight.
  10. IF they waive him again after being here for 30+ days or 10 games since being recalled. Not for a while.
  11. That's what was meant by how both UPL and Peterka are playing tonihght. The only way that could happen now that Stillman is on the roster was to either send somebody else to Ra-cha-cha (not happening), trade a body for a pick (makes no sense), or put Dahlin on IR. Once Anderson got the start Tuesday, he wasn't starting tonight. They don't trust Comrie, so UPL had to be between the pipes tonight. So, some move had to happen. Had Comrie gotten Tuesday's start, Andy could've gone tonight and UPL could've "gone" to Ra-cha-cha.
  12. And thus we have UPL and Peterka both playing tonight. Was kind of expecitng this move when Anderson got Tuesday's start.
  13. Not the guy that makes proposed deals, but would expect it would be 2 1st and a Rosen type prospect at minimum.
  14. And IF a legit goalie add is in the works, could see why Adams wouldn't want this year's 1st included in a package for Chychrun. Would much rather have Saros than Chychrun even though the overall cost would be (significantly) higher.
  15. You could be right. Probably are. Am glad the Sabres got bland and flavorless chicken salad out of this situation. Hockey wasn't Dryden's passion either. He still ended up in the HoF. (Probably not Portillo's trajectory.)
  16. @lts was saying the same thing in a different thread. Have spectrum for internet (formerly time warner roadrunner) and a very good WiFi router, so should have a good setup. But the picture quality of stuff that we stream is significantly (well, noticably) lower quality than that which we get over satellite. Not sure what has to be adjusted on the laptop's settings but must have something not configured properly.
  17. For the last 5 years or so that is true, but home game blackouts were real until very recently for football too.
  18. ESPN/ABC and TNT have the rights to all the post season games, so 7 months (October - April) covers it for MSG content. (Who cares about preseason games which tend not to be on MSG anyhow.)
  19. You get bouncey ball too. (Adding the 2-3 months extra of that would still seem to be cheaper than a full year, so who knows. Maybe they'll do like they do on the main MSG channel and have "classic" games available on the service out of season to keep people subscribed during the off season?)
  20. With DirecTV losing the Sunday Ticket, this announcement might mean our time as DTV customers migh t be ending soon. Provided we can figure out how to get streaming to come in at the same quality as the picture we currently get via DTV. (On our setup, the picture via streaming is significantly poorer quality than satellite.)
  21. Hmm, $310 for a full year, or $210 for a full Sabres season paying month by month. Decisions, decisions. ;)
  22. To the bolded, very much so. And to Chychrun particularly, expect people are reacting soooo negatively to the news of his trade for 2 reasons: the 1st being the one you've identified that he seems to check many of the boxes the Sabres were looking for and he'd been in the discussion for a long time. And 2, on paper this particular player will now make one of the teams the Sabres are fighting with for those wild card slots better on paper if not on the ice. Personally, would like to have seen the Sabres land him considering what was actually given up for him, but am now left with hoping his in-zone shortcomings and an unfamiliarity wiht the system the Otters play and an unfamiliarity with his new partner end up making it a phyrric victory for the Otters as they not only miss the playoffs this year but also win the lottery giving AZ an unprotected 1st next year.
