Jobst making it a 2 goal game. He and Helenius should both be fun to watch in Ra-cha-cha this year. Hopefully Sandstrom is nowhere near that game. Would be nice to see the Sabres go 6-1-0 in the preseason to go with the 2-0-0 start in the RS before they even get to the legit home opener.

Ratzlaff just stopped another flurry. And now the Sabres will be going on the PP after a BJ got a stick in a Sabre's skates in a fairly non-dangerous situation in the BJ's end. Hopefully the Sabres can make them pay again.

Pretty sure the game you're referring to was one of our 1st (maybe THE 1st) Sabrespace meet ups. It looked like he'd be out a long time but wasn't. Though his play definitely slipped for a few weeks after that injury. Sabres just dodged a bullet. Puck was loose in front of the Sabres crease with Ratzlaff down but the BJ couldn't find the handle. Puck ended up going wide as Ratzlaff dove back desperately.

Yikes. That could've blown all 3 of the ligaments in that left knee. Hopefully it was just worse than it looks, because it looks REAL bad.
