    Best explanation was that it was for his grandkid but yeah come on. I just watched the last 5 minutes over lunch (taxi duty / radio last night), how the efff does that high stick on Girgs not get called? One-handed careless type and right on the puck. And would have made it 6v3 not "a man-up" like May said when Duff kicked off post-game with it. Anyways, enjoying this team again, and thrilled to have 0 plans tonight and able to watch from couch.

    Was most fun I had cheering for them in 3rd and OT/Shootout in forever. As RJ said, give me 10 minutes of 3 v 3! Will be interesting to see stats after a few more weeks of play (4v4:SO vs 3V3:SO). On Johnson, is he the exact opposite of Hasek? This guy seems to just sit there square. There's barely any movement almost like he's in a staring contest. Or even Miller would say he would play games. Show shooter something to bait. Whatever works!

    Pham is weird. Last 2 years he would rip Flynn "ahl player" every chance he got. Seems now he's doing fine at Montreal in PK / 3rd/4th line role.

    I still haven't forgiven Gionta for his single-handed effort to disrupt the tank last Feb/Mar. Would rather have Larsson or Reinhart in, so hopefully it's Legwand. Well it is rhyming material.

Eichel "didn't matter" Eisen "But Bruins are your fav team?" Eichel "uh yeah they won the cup when i was in middle school wtf u think" Eisen "Patriots fan?" Eichel "yes they are my team, Bills too!" Is Eisen from Boston? (googled, he's from NYC) Or not a hockey fan? Thanks for nothing.

    Yup. Did the same in game 1. Queue Pierre "you can't do that in this league!". I missed game 2. Today, end of 1st, why doesn't he have a sense of time remaining? Passing with 1 second instead of shooting. He just looks messy.

    Just rode the elavator with Kane (and his hot girlfriend i think? (she was hot but it might be his sister or something) and family) at the new hotel. Too funny. I suggested the offside call sucked, NFL-style. He agreed "I know!". Really, do we want this replay crap? That sucked.

    Help me out here. Kassian is wasted, but a passenger in a car wreck, and he's suspended indefinitely. O'Reilly is the driver, and wasted, and he's cool? Is that right? If "drugs!" is weed, this is messed. If coke or whatever, ok, but wtf is Kassian thinking a: admitting to use, or b: allowing a test.

    It's a message board like this one. Just the average age of the users is probably 1/2 of what it is here. Search "sabres" or "nhl stream" and game thread will come up. That YouTube feed posted there Tues was amazing quality and no pop up virus download crap. Watched on my phone in HD. Kids are still a step ahead. (radio only tonite tho).

    Shout out to Zemgus. Maybe 30 goals this year? Very good 2-way, physical, little bit of tenure, and seems like teammates enjoy him.

    I'm pounding kool-aid here, so I keyed in $500 and it looks like it would pay $350 on that? Seems like a lot of risk for not much reward. Passing through Vegas this summer I put a bet on them winning the cup just for a goof, 80:1 (it's now back to 100:1 I think). Much more fun. Little bit of money, solid reward.

    X, let's chalk it up as he was having a bad day. Maybe something up at home or whatever. He snapped, it happens. I trust Cunneyworth, GMTM and Brandon properly vetted him. We'll see.

    True, better to do so, and he probably disqualified himself from any future NHL or higher profile gigs. But I'll take an occasional snap over a robot any day.

    Me too. It's pretty remarkable compared to Eichel. In one game Eichel reinforces the wow/duh/generational. And I'm on board with "will be fine" but just surprised at what appears to be a large gap.
