There's a lot rule reading that needs to go on for legal reasons, and then the actual drawing process is more complex than just pulling a team's ball. Plus, there's the potential of a long series of redraws, especially for the third pick (the combinations for the #1 and #2 winners become redraws -- note: in the 2015 draft, only the #1 pick was selected, so that was less of an issue.)

The rookie of the year ... ... in the AHL ... ... in 2020-21.
-
True ... he will probably go 20 games without a goal to start next season.
-
I mean, I guess this is a good way to start your NHL career ... ?
-
It can be an OT/SO loss, too. We would still finish a point below Detroit and at least a point below the Rangers. Scenarios: Any loss --> 4th Any win + Rangers not losing in regulation --> 5th Any win + Ranger losing in regulation --> 6th

GDT:Home Finale 4/4/19 Ottawa Senators at Buffalo Sabres 7pm MSG

That's the way to do it. You clinch last place with a couple of games left, so that winning is OK again. Finish on a positive note. Go Sens! ? -

They had the best record, but it was clear that they weren't actually the best team. That said, they were playing significantly better. Once it started to decline, it snowballed out of control. Mostly, I think it's in the middle six forwards, where old players started showing their age (or walked away) and the young players weren't ready to take over, and the defense, which also has a mix of young (potential) talent and aging junk ... and Risto.

I don't know ... if it has a Sabres' logo on it, then it should be easy to put one in?

Since JB made his statement, the Sabres have gone 3-12-2 (including just 1 regulation win and 12 regulation losses.) I can't imagine that Jason was expecting things to go that badly (they went 6-10-1 in the previous 17, including 4 regulation wins, which is still bad, but not that bad.)

GDT Sabres tonight at 7 or 7:08 in Jersey (on TV)

Well, there was 2013-14, in which they had just 11 regulation wins (only 14 ROW!) all season and 21 wins total, not to mention 51 regulation losses. That team takes the cake. Even 2014-15, with just 14 regulation wins (only 15 ROW!), 23 wins total, and (again) 51 regulation losses, was demonstrably worse than the "ignore the win streak" 2018-19 Sabres. That said, when not comparing to two of the worst teams ever, this year's team is really, really bad. -
Under Phil Housley: Regulation wins: 24.20% OT/SO games: 24.84% Regulation losses: 50.96% Under Dan Bylsma: Regulation wins: 32.93% OT/SO games: 22.56% Regulation losses: 44.51%

2017-18 vs. 2018-19 First 15 GP: 12 pts vs. 16 pts Next 10 GP: 4 pts vs. 20 pts Next 50 GP: 42 pts vs. 35 pts Final 7 GP: 4 pts vs. TBD pts They were up 20 pts after 25 GP, but will need 11 pts in 7 GP to have a better final 57 GP. (ETA) Or, if you like simple numbers to remember: they had 21 more points in the first half than last year, but need 12 of 14 just to tie the second half. (I know that you weren't actually suggesting 'progress' as a legitimate excuse, but rather saying that they will.) -

14. They had 17 in their first 25 games. Also fun: Just 19 regulation wins in 75 GP ... and 35 regulation losses. -

I'd say that you forgot Sobotka, but he's not an option; he's a must! -
The Sabres in November ...

Nylander is 21; Dahlin is 18. When Rasmus is 21, he will likely be a bit more solidly built.
-
They are now below 2016-17 and are projecting to be below 2015-16. It's likely that this will be the 4th worst season since the 2004-05 lockout (and probably before that), ahead of only the two tank years and last year. ?

My guess is that it was such a mad scramble that "unassisted" = "unsure" until they can really look at the video.

Nerves and/or puberty (compare his voice to his audition video from a year ago), but definitely cringe-worthy.

I only track the East and only pay attention to GP (not specific dates), but this is since each team's respective 25th game: They were one point ahead (36 vs. 35 points) of Tampa through 25GP, but have since recorded 45 fewer points (though, we do have a game-in-hand!)

Had a bit too much 'sauce' one year (pre kids), then stopped for one of those (mistake). About halfway through it, stuff came back up ... right into the cup. ? Good news was that it all disappeared quickly into the thick green liquid. Bad new is that I can't take a sip from one now without wondering was lies beneath the surface. ?

Apparently, 'Babs' is the problem and they should buy out his contract. There's a grass is greener example in here somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's ours or theirs?
