  1. They also need to get separation from Miami before Tua gets back. We know that the Dolphins can put together regulation wins with him at QB (however long that may last.) Bills win tonight, then the Tua-less Dolphins will face the Colts with the potential of also falling two games behind the Bills (through 6 GP.) If the Bills lose tonight, the Dolphins might see the chance to move into a tie with the Jets and the Bills right before Tua returns.
  2. This is true, but with a major reset, I'll take an easier path to the playoffs while they (hopefully) get things figured out. If they don't, it won't matter whether they get in, but it's nice that it looks like that path is there, if they have some (re-)growing pains.
  3. Setting aside my Bills fan hat for a minute ... I don't care if the last two plays had been stopped, with Henry sitting at 199, you don't call a pass play on 3rd down. Give him another shot. 198 or 197 isn't much different than 199, but 200 is a milestone.
  4. You can see a little of it in the video posted, but it was one of those where after the catch, the corner and the safety - both 10 yards from the receiver - turn to each other, hands out in the WTF position, and say, "I thought you ..." Worthy didn't do anything special, except maybe keep himself from laughing too hard to actually make the catch.
  5. Worthy's performance was more of an eye-rolling, "of course he did ... 'cause Buffalo" stat/story line. In reality, he scored a decent rushing touchdown and didn't drop a ball when the Ravens decided to let him go uncovered, but otherwise didn't look at all impressive as an actual receiver. But, yeah, the guy that we "let" the Chiefs have just had to score two touchdowns in their opening win. What does that say about how he'll do the rest of the season? Not much. He'll likely produce some because he's a fourth or fifth option, gadget receiver in the Chiefs' offense, but he's unlikely to turn into a top-tier receiver, and he's still likely one bad hit from being snapped in half. Regardless, if the Bills playing well, nobody will care. It would also help (emotionally) if Coleman shows up in the stats line.
  6. Game of inches, indeed.
  7. And that's two. Of course, with that blown coverage, I could have come off the couch and made that catch.
  8. Geez, a lot of anger over what seems to be a difference between legal definitions and simple use of language, especially when the legal definition, itself, can differ by jurisdiction. From the accounts given - drunk driver who aggressively passed someone and stuck two bicyclists who died as a result - the driver "killed" them (as the thread title now reads.) That person, whether charged with "murder" or "manslaughter" or "vehicular homicide" should get a very long sentence. No matter what it is, it will do nothing for the family of the victims, who will never get their brothers/sons/etc back.
  9. What did we get from the Bears for 144? Edit: 2025 4th-round pick.
  10. They said he's powerful, but has short arms, so center-only. Also said he's great at snapping in shotgun, which we know Josh prefers to be in.
  11. While Samuel won't be a #1, he has a chance at 900 receiving yards. He hit 851 in 15 GP his last year a Carolina. He also had 1,051 all-purpose yards that year. Obviously, he was down a bit in Washington (in the 600's receiving the last two years), but now he's got Josh feeding him.
  12. They'll put him on Worthy. 🤪
  13. Josh Allen at 0:36:
  14. Do the Falcons draft a QB here just to be safe?
  15. I was venting after sitting through four hours of that overly-dragged-out spectacle, just to see him follow up trading with the perennial team-to-beat by not even giving us one shiny new thing to be happy about. Obviously, it shouldn't (and clearly didn't) actually factor into his decisions. Still, somebody in the war room, even Beane himself, had to acknowledge that fans were really going to hate him after that (for the night, anyway.) Now, we (fans) get to see what he does with it. The results, which won't be seen for a while, are all that really matter. In the moment, at 12-something in the morning, it was a hard pill to swallow.
  16. Lighten up kids; it was a joke. (As was "kids" here, before anyone takes it personally.)
  17. Beating the Bills in the playoffs and winning Super Bowls, that's what the Chiefs do. Hard not to care about those. 😉
  18. Then, get out of the Bills thread. Literally, every other thread is about the NHL. This board is about the NHL. There's one thread for people who also like the NFL, and you feel the need to come in and s**t on it and them? Thanks, I wasn't happy with Beane, but now he doesn't seem so bad.
  19. Literally don't give two s**ts about the little bit of politics that happened a few years back. Hasn't crossed my mind once in a very long time.
  20. Wow, that's just a d**k move to the fans.
  21. Wow, that somehow makes it feel that much worse.
  22. I didn't necessarily want Worthy, but I definitely did not want the Chiefs to get the fastest WR out there.
  23. So, basically turned a fourth into a third to give KC control of the board when they need WR, too?
  24. Mitchell? McConkey? Worthy? ... trade down?
