Sounds like JP Losman. I liked his interviews. Most others panned him for it.

Hold the horses there bud. I believe the quote is adding not drafting. Big difference. He also said adding to the team and not to the organization. Also a big difference. All he was saying was that 2 to 3 young players that they have drafted or have acquired or will draft next year will be making the team each year in the next 2 to 3 to 4 years.

I was referring to the latter.

I think this is the wrong way to think about that issue. Perhaps it was the only cure given the state of the Sabres, but that's the tail wagging the dog. Topics should generally stay on topic and hi-jacking should be discouraged. That's the way it should run to benefit the most people. Now that the situation has changed over at FNC, we don't really need to herd the anger and we should get back to more typical way of discussing topics.

Hey everyone, we made a couple of changes with a few more to come most likely... I decided to freshen up the moderating crew with the addition of nfreeman! I'm super happy he has decided to lend a hand. His even temperament will be great to have. We will probably add 1 to 2 more. I want to thank Corp and KnightRider for their years and years of service. Like me, they are in the middle of the busy years with kids, so I totally understand their time and interest have been constrained. Anyway, I hope the excitement of the new Sabres re-invigorates the fanbase after some tumultuous years and our little place on the internet remains to be a great place to talk about it. :thumbsup:

It's the same refrain from every "unsuccessful" franchise across every major sport. People make mistakes. When we have a failure in engineering, we try to minimize the number of variables. Pegula sort of did that with Regier. Sure it wasted time, but he needed to get to the place most of us were already at all on his own. He got there.

The S & P 500 is an emotionless investment... Life in the first few years did not bring the returns that fans had hoped. With the new structure, perhaps that will change. I like the way we are headed and therefore am extracting some entertainment value. Then again, I don't buy tickets.

My opinion has always been fans henpeck the words of athletes way too much. Because of that, they get homogenized into robo-athlete. Meh. Who cares what any of them say anyway?

Well, my post was an honest attempt at humor. Hopefully we can get past the fueds of the past and focus on this young team. Kids and soccer are kicking my ass. I helped start a new kids soccer training company with my daughters head coach. But, back on topic - do you think SR is genuine in his answers or do you think he is overly scripted?
