So, the only thing I can figure is that he changed his name to sloth and then maybe asked for an email address change? That goes into a long list that includes all the people waiting to be validated. Perhaps I deleted his account when removing a spam account?

Nope. No record of that. Thanes16 does not exist. The only way that could have happened is if you signed up within the year before our big hard drive crash and therefore your name and posts were all lost for that time period.

Or maybe he's just from a different generation where he truly meant that as a compliment.

This is the big one. Little Boy has just been dropped on FIFA. Pressure form social media, particularly on the bribe-paying sponsors will force a lot of people out. They need to save face and will use their sponsorship money to become the heroes, when just minutes before they were a part of the schemes. -
Did GMTM take a veiled shot at Ted Nolan during the WGR interview?
SDS replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
I watched a 1987 Islanders/capitals playoff game last night. There were guys falling down on the ice every single shift. It had a very beer league feeling about it . -
c'mon... he was "the only one" who saw us not getting McDavid. A lone voice... Clearly he is on to something.
-
You are arguing with someone who uses "Karma" as a discussion point.

For those of you saying this is just business – I disagree. Sports leagues are small communities. This isn't your normal job interview with company and a and there's 100 other companies with no relation to yours. If there was a verbal agreement then it isn't just business – Breaking that agreement is a crappy thing to do. My only wish for him now is to have all the success that Brian Burke had up there and to step in a steaming pile of dog .

Not a big Rangers fan, but damned if don't love their goal song...

A custom version of the Hawaii 5-O theme could be made to work in a similar way the Whalers song. -
Superdraft - where would every NHL player get picked today?
SDS replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
I'll say it again - you are the only one saying this. No one else is doing it that way. -
Please take moment and gaze at the awesomeness of this train wreck: http://bracketchallenge.nhl.com/?locale=en&intcmpid=bc2015-reg-tv#/picks?entry_id=204563

Superdraft - where would every NHL player get picked today?

Dudacek - your ranking idea is not sticking and was never the original intent of the topic. The original post called for a draft of all eligible nhl players with he purpose of swing where undrafted players might be taken with current stars. Eleven is the latest to reference building a team. -

This isn't my baby but I don't understand why you would rank them. It doesn't make any sense. If you're not building a team why would you draft Connor McDavid? Clearly he's not one of the best players in the NHL given the fact that he has never played in the NHL. -

I would say no. You are building a real team. Or at least the top two lines/pairings. -

If every person is representing a team (or two) you draft a team. You could draft for near-term, you could draft for the future, or you could try to do a little of both. Personally, I would draft 12 forwords, six defenseman, a starting goalie and maybe a back up.
