It didn’t hit the crossbar. It was probably 4 to 6 inches below it. Watch the video on the NHL app. The puck as well below the crossbar and after the deflection it travels level. Physics checks out.

If that’s the case, it’s only because we actually have acquired enough talent to say that.

I think if you look at the replay on the NHL app, you don’t see the puck travel downwards. it travels level to the ice. I’m guessing the stick started high and touched the puck just below the crossbar. If he touched it above the puck would have to have gone downwords. But I don’t see it.

I think they played pretty well the second half of the first.
