  1. Past hour
  2. I’m fine with giving Lindy a year if he gets to pick his assistant coaches and someone else is in the GM chair.
  3. If you need something from a store, better get it soon. Shipping orders have fallen off a cliff. We're going to see empty shelves by the end of summer. Between this tariff BS and the Executive Branch club in DC (which is disgusting), Trump really does want the this to be Russia.
  4. Today
  5. First rumor is that Terry wanted Ruff in the organization, a result of last years "coach search". Second Rumor is that Ruff moves up to an FO position after two years and Appert gets to wear the Daddy Pants. Third Rumor is Adams is being moved. Todays reality: In Ruff, we get a guy in his second season back as coach, in a win or die situation, and with lame deck status beyond next season. Not ideal, but TP is not going to send him away after just one season. I think this means that whether Adams moves or not Lindy will around at least another year.
  6. Brandon Beane did a great job shielding the Sabres today.
  7. Huh. I thought you were from that part of Canada.
  8. I do not like the WGR guys all that much. I can tolerate the morning show, but JW seems to 'pick his point' and then never gets off it. The afternoon WGR show is awful. But as far and Brandon Beane, I didn't like how he came off during this interview. He can make his point without sounding like he did, and I think he came across today as somewhat of a jerk.
  9. He really does suck, come playoff time.
  10. Ok, I feel that talking about how small wgr is and how Beane is bigger implies that.
  11. You think the receivers performing better wouldn't have helped them win? You think having a criticism of one aspect means the entire loss is to blame on that one aspect? Shakir was high in separation because his aDOT was under 3 yards. He caught a ton of screen passes which boosts his catch percentage as well as his separation numbers. Coleman was dead. last. in the league in separation. He has quite literally nowhere to go but up. Someone doesn't agree with you, obviously that just means they know very, very little. Good argument.
  12. Hell no HELL no
  13. Ae you not a Winnipeg Jets fan too?
  14. Never said that or think that. This isn’t Donald Trump and CNN. This is football.
  15. It is actually true. It's one of the reasons Dan Orlovsky voted for Allen over Jackson for MVP. He explicitly stated that Buffalo had a bottom 5 team at separation. I don't have access to PFF grades anymore, but their data also agrees.
  16. I really have no idea what you're talking about. Never said Beane owed them anything. I just reject your underlying notion that being successful puts one beyond reproach. Your implying that ppl who are rich or powerful can ***** on those who aren't which is a hierarchy I reject. Beane came on and acted defensive, aggressive, and condescending. You're arguing that's fine because wgr is smaller than the Bills. Again, I actually agree with Beanes underlying point, buffalo's defense isn't good enough. I don't think asking him about how they value wr though gives Beane a free pass to have a mini meltdown.
  17. And by the way. Jeremy White knows what goes on in NFL football just as much as regular fans. Which is very very little.
  18. You don’t really think the lack of production from receivers cost them that game? I understand where you are coming from but first, they acquired Palmer who was amongst the league leaders in separation, second, Shakir and Kincaid are among the leaders, third, you have to hope Coleman makes some strides although he wasn’t a great separator in college either but fourth, and most importantly, I’m sure he’d love to have a top receiver but you can’t have everything you want and it’s hard to argue with the success they’ve had as well as addressing an area that was far more problematic then receiver separation.
  19. Imagine you own a very successful wine business. A nation wide successful business worth billions. And someone not even a part of your business, an outsider, has a tiny little website about wine. And that person criticizes what you do even though you keep putting out great wine year after year. Normally, you probably shouldn’t even care what that person says because what the heck do they know about what it really takes to make a successful wine company. But you do this small website a favor and decide to give them an interview. Beanne doesn’t owe White or WGR anything. I’m sure if he wants he doesn’t have to do a single interview with this small show.
  20. We were drafting for need. We had no centers to speak of. Tyler Ennis and Luke Adam. That was a lousy draft for centers. Story of our last 14 seasons.
  21. I would have Rossi over Quinn in 2020 but here we are.
  22. I didn't realize they scratched Brannstrom. Wild to be scratching an NHL caliber player in the AHL... but I suppose I can't argue with the results
  23. That's my issue though. Jeremy White did know what he was talking about and I wholeheartedly reject the notion that Beane is above being questioned in such a setting. That's not an interview then, it's just organizational propaganda. Also wtf was he calling him out for?
  24. Some of us are working and might only have a short amount of time to read and comment. I can’t listen to the whole interview but I did listen to what you posted. And it doesn’t sound as bad as people are making it out to be. Why was it bad? Cause he said the “B” word? Because he actually took the time to step down and call out a small time radio guy for not knowing what he’s talking about? My only problem with this is I wish Beanne didn’t even care what a local radio host said.
