He got so damn close when a Blackhawk defensemen accidentally pulled a Sabres move and scored on on his own goal while Ohio was inching from tapping the puck in.

Minnesota’s season has become very Sabresy. -
Agreed. And therein lies the rub.
-
It’s amazing that he’s on this streak. It seemed near impossible as of a few games ago

Clinched a playoff spot. No Östlund. No Levi. No…. Wait. Panic! Panic!!!
-
Not long enough. It was awesome.
-
Sandstrom. They ended up losing 5-0. Levi should be in tomorrow night.
-
How long did that celebration go on for?
-
Who is in net?
-
His next chance is Sunday against the Islanders.
-
There it is! Let's get the hat trick at home for the record And for the love of all that is holy, no challenge on the record clinching goal
-
Ovie with the record tie.... Hat trick for the record... Would be sweet @home
-
Amerks responding well to the Östlund call up. Down 5-0 in the second.
-
From the Sabres sole reason for existence is to win the Stanley Cup, to going with KA five years now after a 14 year playoff drought works with me as a good definition of a FRAUD!

Sabres recall Östlund from Rochester, April 4, 2025

This is just a late season look see. Not unusual for teams to do this. Evaluate exactly where his progress is. I think it likely he needs another year in Rochester. -
OMG did they ever. Just look into the Derek Sanderson story. If he hadn't been a party animal a lot of people think he could have been one of the top players in the league. There were others that indulged heavily as well. They didn't have the discipline and drive of some of those Montreal teams that's for sure.

Eichel to Boston in another year is a thing that could happen. Now all homeboys go home though. They said Hannifin was going to sign in Boston too and he went Vegas all the way. Eichel could easily stay in Vegas. However this does bring in the question of whether they are planning a one year (this year) tank or a two year tank for McKenna and then maybe signing Eichel and a rapid rebuild. What they do this off season might be interesting to watch. They've certainly pulled a rapid about face that's for sure.

The Trump Tariffs: Economic War

I’m afraid you’re right about it getting worse. And I think that’s exactly what he wants because he’s hoping there will be violent uprisings that will allow him to declare martial law in order to prevent another election. There will be deadly uprisings, but his martial law gambit to prevent elections won’t hold. FFS, we had a presidential election during the civil war insurrection.
