Well I seem to have struck a nerve.

I was very curious to see what you’d say when you disagreed with my post about WGR being low quality radio. I wasn’t expecting this.

Well, the Main St. Armory is more a sports complex right now than a concert venue. Not sure they've had a concert there since that one in 2023 where 3 people died. I know it has a lot of volleyball going on as my daughter was there multiple nights per week over the winter. It's also still a complete craphole.

But, prior to that REALLY want them to at least make an overture to Sullivan. The chances of him coming to Buffalo are slim and nearly nil. If they don't reach out to him they are actually nil.

It IS their job. But have you never been ticked when you've had to do something at your day job (or your parenting job) a few extra times for something that easily didn't need to happen? Game ends Friday night. Pack everything thing up Friday night. Unload everything Saturday in time for "day off" practice. Get everything game ready Saturday night for afternoon Sunday game. Pack everything up Sunday night. Lather, rinse, repeat. No reason for them to have to pack and unpack everything a few extra times other than "Shrader thought it would be really cool."

Beane caring about what a local radio host says vs. showing a professional courtesy are two very different things. Beane was way out of line with his tone and argumentative demeanor. I agree with @LGR that the defense does need more attention and Beane had every right to defend exactly WHY those decisions were made. But you see there was no chance for that dialogue because one of parties didn’t like the fact that someone questioned his authority. I might appreciate an answer on why the board didn’t seem to have any offensive weapons that were difference makers when they drafted at 41. Explain the thought process on the selection of TJ Sandeds. And the fact he went back to 2018 and the Josh Allen pick - really? Is Beane really so thin skinned that he remembers criticism about that pick from Jeremy? He was widely criticized for reaching with Allen. It was most of the National media too. He also flaunted his (read Josh Allen’s) offensive stats from last year citing 30+ ppg. And where did that get you? Beane has zero AFC Championships, let alone SB wins. Stay humble my man. Take a note from the League MVP who is half your age, with a quarter of the work experience.

So they’re not a fast team because they don’t have one of the 20 fastest forwards or defensemen in the entire league? BTW, Josh Norris is on the list 👀

He may have gotten the call if the series was going to be a track meet, but the Amerks liked Komorov’s size against the Crunch (plus he’s still a legitimate Sabres prospect). Now that he’s likely in the protocol (plus no word how close Prow is to returning), I believe he will be the next man up.

I’m fine with giving Lindy a year if he gets to pick his assistant coaches and someone else is in the GM chair.

First rumor is that Terry wanted Ruff in the organization, a result of last years "coach search". Second Rumor is that Ruff moves up to an FO position after two years and Appert gets to wear the Daddy Pants. Third Rumor is Adams is being moved. Todays reality: In Ruff, we get a guy in his second season back as coach, in a win or die situation, and with lame deck status beyond next season. Not ideal, but TP is not going to send him away after just one season. I think this means that whether Adams moves or not Lindy will around at least another year.

Brandon Beane did a great job shielding the Sabres today.

I do not like the WGR guys all that much. I can tolerate the morning show, but JW seems to 'pick his point' and then never gets off it. The afternoon WGR show is awful. But as far and Brandon Beane, I didn't like how he came off during this interview. He can make his point without sounding like he did, and I think he came across today as somewhat of a jerk.

He really does suck, come playoff time.

Ok, I feel that talking about how small wgr is and how Beane is bigger implies that.

You think the receivers performing better wouldn't have helped them win? You think having a criticism of one aspect means the entire loss is to blame on that one aspect? Shakir was high in separation because his aDOT was under 3 yards. He caught a ton of screen passes which boosts his catch percentage as well as his separation numbers. Coleman was dead. last. in the league in separation. He has quite literally nowhere to go but up. Someone doesn't agree with you, obviously that just means they know very, very little. Good argument.

It is actually true. It's one of the reasons Dan Orlovsky voted for Allen over Jackson for MVP. He explicitly stated that Buffalo had a bottom 5 team at separation. I don't have access to PFF grades anymore, but their data also agrees.
