LOL glad you write players off after one viewing. Some of the players on your list are some of the top players in the AHL. I guess no team has anyone coming -

If the Sabres become a relevant team, I’m sure the house will be mostly filled and the place rocking and rolling. Thanks for the ticket offer. I’m in Maryland. I do appreciate your generosity. -
The more I think about it, a five minute major for that hit is absolutely ridiculous, considering all the other bs they let go.

Was my first Amerks game. Loved the atmosphere, the arena, and the people. Wasn't that impressed with amerks play although they showed heart with comeback win. Two best players on the ice were Fiddler-Schultz and Clague. Rochester is a really small team. Was not impressed with the jr Sabres: - Levi two weak goals - Kulich meh - Rosen didn't notice him -Östlund constantly knocked off puck - Helenius same as above - Johnson tiny - Novikov and Komarov big but can't skate. Help is not on the way. 15 and counting unless some major trade wins coming. -
And the NHL never gets it wrong. Who cares anyway? It’s a series and that hit was for the next game. I love Tkachuk.
-
The refs reviewed it and gave him a 5 minute major for interference. It was so late that the Refs ruled, after review, that Tkachuk had interfered with the next thing that Guentzel was going to do.

Game day info: https://www.amerks.com/news/detail/playoff-preview-amerks-eyeing-2-0-series-lead-against-crunch Meanwhile CLE swept TOR 2-0 in their opening round series. The Monsters will face Laval in the 2nd rd best-of-5. That winner faces the winner of ROC/SYR in the North final/Calder quarterfinal. Some of you asked what does it cost to subscribe to FLO hockey. It's $12.50/mo if you buy the whole year. ($150) Or $29.95/mo cancel anytime. -
While all that might be true, it still wasn’t late.
-
I just rewatched it to make sure I didn't see it incorrectly the first time. Tkachuk didn't even commit to the hit until after the puck was gone. To the bolded, the reason player's in this situation don't have their heads on swivels is because they generally wouldn't dream that an opponent would do something that dirt-baggish. Of course, Guentzel should have known better as Tkachuk is a world-class dirt-bag. Hits like this are available all over the ice, and in every game, and they don't happen. The reason they don't happen is that the vast majority of players aren't dirt-bags.

We don't have enough defenders who know how to defend. Dahlin isn't defensive oriented and he's still good defending. They need more gritty puck moving defenders.

It really wasn’t. Watch it in real time, not that super slo-mo replay. Totally clean hit. And after the second time he touches it. He was admiring his pass.
-
Really? I thought it was way late. Maybe I just hate Tkachuk. But the pass was way away

Are all home games usually sold out? What are the ticket prices for Bandit games? -

So Halifax, Saskatchewan and Vancouver all won their games. Vancouver comes to Buffalo. -
Friedman believes changes are coming to Sabres Front Office; UPL Available?

The stadium is well on its way to being built. He has people overseeing that daunting project that is well on its way to completion. The football draft is over and the people running the football franchise have proven to be excellent at managing that particular franchise. The hockey playoffs have started and the then the hockey draft will soon happen. There is no excuse for him not to give his attention to attention to the hockey operation. If he fails to act then it will be another example of his incompetency. He's already demonstrated that as an owner he is a failure. If he doesn't act this offseason, then he will be even more of an abject failure as an owner. No more excuses! -
I was watching a good chunk of the Minny/Vegas game. It was a battle with a lot of hard hitting and tight defensive play. This was typical playoff intense play that you see in most playoff games. What's obvious to me (and most commentators here) is that the way our roster is constructed we will not be able to play the style of game required to be a serious team. Where it becomes really apparent is on the blueline where you see players battling near the goalie. We don't have enough more defensive oriented and rugged players on our blueline unit. I'm not saying anything that hasn't often been said. It's just so noticeable when you watch playoff games. The Sabres have plenty of skill players. They need Greenway to get healthy and another Zucker-like player (younger) added to the forward line to make this a tougher roster to play. It just seems to me that a few smart roster moves will make a big difference for this team.

Man, that was a great hit by Tkachuk on Gentzle! It wasn’t anywhere close to late. Pretty ridiculous that it was a penalty.
-
I think KA's first line was, "we want players who want to be here". That is exactly what he got. Just want to be here.
-
Agree. They keep finding good players and fitting them in. Hoping the trend continues.

Is it at State Farm?

Cypress Hill announced for Artpark. My pilgrimage right there. Opening Atmosphere and Pharcyde. Goddam it's gonna be a good one.
