‘The 26-year-old has been through this before and knows preparation is the key to being able to survive in his role. The Sabres believe in him, too. They drafted him in the fourth round in 2017 and have kept re-signing him. To help keep his shot in the NHL, Bryson took a one-year deal over the summer for $900,000, which was slightly less than half of what he was making the last two years. Right now, at least, everyone’s faith is getting rewarded.’
