He’s most known as the voice of more than 1,900 Bisons games through the iconic days when we closed War Memorial Stadium and sold a million tickets a year at then-Pilot Field from 1988-1993. But he also was the Sabres’ last radio-only play-by-play man, an analyst and host on Bills broadcasts during the Super Bowl years, a voice for local college basketball and football and a host on WBEN Radio and Empire Sports Network. And he got his start here in 1976 at old WEBR Radio.’
