‘“It was not an easy thing mentally, but what I took out of the injury is I have more of an appreciation for hockey,” Girgensons said following the skate. “I had never missed that long of a period, and I really did miss hockey. So that made me work harder, and my excitement for camp this year is just way higher than it’s been before.”‘
