‘“I was fortunate to not have to move away from home like so many young hockey players do. I was able to graduate from a school that was special to me in a town that’s special to me,” Adams said. “I’d go as far back to being a young kid in Clarence and the different coaches I had. You learn from them and they shape you. These past 10 years have been no different. There’s been a lot of roles, and all of them have been part of the learning experience that’s led me to where I am today.”’
