‘I’m not here to tell you that Ralph Krueger was an inspired hire who should excite you but I’m not going to say he’s destined to fail and the Sabres are so bad they could only get a guy who had been out of the league for six years. I do like a number of things I have read and heard about Krueger over the last couple of days but his success or failure as coach of the Sabres will likely depend on what general manager Jason Botterill does with the roster.’
