Sabres' Skinner hasn't decided on free agency

Source: WGR-AM

‘Skinner had to waive his no-movement clause in order for the Hurricanes to trade him to Buffalo. He did so knowing the Sabres were last overall last season. He still sees positives inside this team, “I came here and I knew where the organization finished last season and I was optimistic and positive about the direction the organization was headed and I don’t think that’s changed. The things I mentioned about the young core they have, the talent they have in the system, it hasn’t changed and in a lot of cases that talent is going to keep getting better. There’s still growth and there are still things that we can build on, but I think the organization is on a good direction.”’
