‘Jack Eichel has evolved into more of a playmaker this season. It seems that the addition of Skinner and the rebirth of Jason Pominville have allowed Eichel to focus more on creating scoring chances rather than trying to score on every shot. He may not be putting the puck in the back of the net as often as fans would like from the former second overall pick, but he is off to the best start of his career. He has 25 points with five goals and 20 assists. At some point Eichel will need to find a way to bury the puck home, but for now his playmaking abilities are powering the offense.’
