‘Fasching, 22, was acquired by former Sabres general manager Tim Murray during the 2014 NHL Trade Deadline, sending defenseman Brayden McNabb and two second round picks to acquire the then-highly touted prospect. Despite the accolades, Fasching was not able to get things going in the Sabres organization. Fasching registered only 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 22 games in a Sabres uniform, and totaled 42 points in 106 career games in Rochester.’
