Why the success of the Sabres defense rests on Bogosian

Source: WGR-AM

‘In terms of physical skill sets, Bogosian’s is one of the most impressive in the entire league. On the offensive side, he utilizes his skating ability fairly well, using a quick stride to find open space for a shot or when racing the puck up ice on occasion. There are times where he steps up into the play and it results in a 2-on-1 the other way, but you might say that for any aggressive defenseman. On defense, however, there quite a few examples where it appears Bogo does not fully trust his skating ability.’
