‘“I think I had a really good summer last summer and last season was good for me,” Cornel said. “I was a leader on my team. I improved a lot mentally and off the ice as well. I think I had to improve my confidence and be a little bit more decisive on the ice. I was able to control the play a lot so that’s the biggest thing with me.”’
