‘Buffalo had the option of taking highly touted defensemen Jakob Chychrun from the Sarnia Sting or Mikhail Sergachev of the Windor Spitfires, but ultimately decided upon the Swedish winger. The Sabres are set with young talent up front, but could still use some assets on the back end. Former first round pick Rasmus Ristolainen fits the mold of a top-pairing defenseman, but is a restricted free agent this summer. Mark Pysyk, another former first-rounder, and Jake McCabe are intriguing defenders, but Buffalo would do well to add more defensive talent.’
