‘The Wild brought Vanek in to score goals and it hasn’t worked yet. He has just one goal in 14 games and Vanek said, “I think you guys know me well enough that I wouldn’t call it pressing, but sometimes you want to take the game over and score those goals and if you try too hard, it backfires, but I think my playmaking has been great, I’ve been generating a lot of chances for other guys, but for myself sometimes I look to make a play instead of taking it, which I’m sure you guys have seen, so it’s just start shooting the puck a little bit more.”’
