‘When speaking with Myers I’ve always gotten the impression that he’d like to stay here. One of the reasons is with the hiring’s of Pat LaFontaine, Craig Patrick, Tim Murray and Ted Nolan, he thinks the organization has gotten it right, “Yes, you come into the room and you can tell, it’s a good atmosphere. It’s better than it was and you can tell it’s moving in the right direction. The main focus for all the guys in the room and the staff is getting to a point where we’re a contender as fast as we can. I think it’s not going to start at the start of next season, it’s starting right now.”’
