‘Regier said there have been no contract talks with Miller, Vanek or Steve Ott. Regier said, “Talking to my counterparts around the league, that’s not unusual. For whatever reason there’s not a lot of activity on players that are slated to become unrestricted in ’14 and there have not been a lot of contracts signed with those players. I don’t know whether or if that will change in the next month, but right now it’s fairly quiet on the signing side.”’
