Sabres Give Up Late Lead; Fall to Avs 5-4

Source: WGR-AM

‘The 4-3 lead stood until McGinn found the net with under 2 seconds remaining in regulation. Following a flurry around Miller, a loose puck dribbled between the goaltender’s pads, slid toward the goalline, and was pushed into the net by McGinn. It marked the second straight game in which Buffalo gave up a game-tying goal in the waning seconds of the game. After a scoreless overtime period, the two sides went to a shootout where Peter Mueller beat Miller for the lone goal.’
