FiOS touts addition of MSG broadcasts
'The timing of the addition of HD broadcasts on FiOS to coincide with the Time Warner-MSG dispute was a result of a court ruling. Verizon won a protracted legal battle against MSG for its HD feeds. A federal court ruled in favor of Verizon in November, upholding a FCC ruling, which forced MSG to negotiate with Verizon to provide HD feeds. MSG had argued that Verizon was not a … [Read more...] about FiOS touts addition of MSG broadcasts

Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine…
Has he fully recovered from the injury? It’s impossible to say, but something’s not right with Roy. The most frustrating thing about No. 9 is that he may very well be the engine of this team. Laugh if you will, but look at the facts: When Roy records a point, the Sabres are 12-2-3, When Roy fails to mark the scoresheet, the Sabres are 5-15-0.' … [Read more...] about Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine…
Dulled finish
'“You start by taking a penalty. Webby is a physical player. I don’t think it was that bad a hit when I look at it,” Ruff explained. “Sometimes that early call is an easy one to make and they made it. That gets you behind the eight ball right off the bat. It’s hard not to tell a guy to not finish his check.”' … [Read more...] about Dulled finish
