‘With less than six seconds left in regulation, Buffalo settled in to take a draw to the left of Montreal goaltender Carey Price. The play started with center Paul Gaustad, who won the draw over to Marc-Andre Gragnani. Gragnani tapped the puck to a waiting Jason Pominville who saw Thomas Vanek edging towards the net. Pominville passed the puck across the ice to Vanek who caught the pass, faked a shot, looked Price in the eyes and went top shelf on the Montreal goaltender. With 2.8 seconds left in the second period, Buffalo had taken the lead away from the Canadiens and set up an interesting third.’
