Sabres step on the gas, zap Lightning

Source: Buffalo News

‘The turnaround started with 15:34 left in regulation. Drew Stafford got tangled up with Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman near the crease, and while going down Stafford tripped goaltender Dwayne Roloson. The fallen goalie had no chance to stop Jordan Leopold’s point shot, and he quickly skated toward the referee to argue. The ref, who was behind the net, never saw the trip because he had his eyes on Tampa’s Steve Downie and Buffalo’s Tim Connolly, who were wrestling on the ice in the faceoff circle just as Leopold prepared to shoot.’
