Sending a message with No. 36′s crazy fists
It’s a great move for PK. He’s already widely-regarded as a guy whose career will be shortened by his style of play, but this could slow that down a touch. Granted as long as he keeps leaving his feet to make hits -- like he did before getting boarded Friday - he’s going to be a target (Additionally, it would’ve been nice for Rick Jeanneret or Harry … [Read more...] about Sending a message with No. 36′s crazy fists

Miller, Sabres shut out Blue Jackets, 5-0
'“It’s a good night when you can kind of get forgotten a little bit,” Miller said. “I have no problem with that. We played a good game, and it’s good to see. The puck went in the back of the net, we were able to control the play, and we played good defense. From where I’m standing, that’s probably one of our better overall … [Read more...] about Miller, Sabres shut out Blue Jackets, 5-0

Sabres GM Regier Addresses Owner Rumors
'"Well I don't have any comment on it because I don't know anything about it," asserted Regier. "So therefore there's nothing for me to report. The rest is rumor, conjecture and is out there."' … [Read more...] about Sabres GM Regier Addresses Owner Rumors
Connolly skates and clears the air
'As far as how he got the black eye, rumors were all over Buffalo that Derek Roy punched a drunk Connolly. Both Roy and Lindy Ruff have said that didn't happen. It was just an accidental thing, it wasn't Royzy punching me in the face, I don't know where that came out, but those things can … [Read more...] about Connolly skates and clears the air
Stafford and Pominville join forces
'Pominville has been at or near the top of the Sabres' right-wing depth chart throughout his career. The same holds true for Stafford, which is why the pair had never been paired. But when a team is 25th in the NHL in scoring and has found the net just five times in four games, it's time to change the depth chart.' … [Read more...] about Stafford and Pominville join forces
