‘The Sabres can only be judged on their past and how the franchise has made acquisitions to make the team better. This same core group that has not made a real run at the Stanley Cup needs to be held accountable for their past. However, they do deserve credit for saying the right things this preseason, and doing the right things on the ice during the exhibitions as well.’
