Time for the Sabres to go to work

Source: WGR-AM

‘It really looks like if this team wants to get better it will have to do it by trade. If the Blackhawks are still over the cap I would be ready for who ever became available. The Flyers likely need to move somebody and Regier must be ready. At the draft Regier said all his discussions were for players to come in, he wasn’t talking about anybody leaving and that takes us back to being married to his own players. I believe that after three years of big game failures they still think these guys can win. Yes they did move forward with a division championship, but they have shown over and over again that they can’t be counted on to come up big when it matters most. Until this team sees this, it’ll be business as usual!’
