Sabres Can Oilers 3-1

Source: WGR-AM

‘The Oilers had a great chance to tie up the game late in the third period after Clarke MacArthur received a five-minute major penalty for boarding Edmonton’s Liam Reddox. After 34 seconds of four-on-four hockey, Buffalo killed the remaining 4:26 of penalty time to assure the victory. Reddox had to be assisted off the ice and in to the dressing room after the initial penalty play. MacArthur was sent to the locker room for the remainder of the night.’
