Bruins Shut Down Sabres 3-1

Source: WGR-AM

‘Kobasew, in his first game back since suffering a fractured leg, put the Bruins ahead 2-1 at the 2:47 mark of the second period. Kobasew’s shot from the top of the faceoff circle sailed over Miller’s left shoulder and found the back of the net. A little over five minutes later, Marc Savard put Boston up by two when he capitalized on a fat Miller rebound. Phil Kessel shot one that deflected off Miller’s blocker and landed on the stick of Savard, who promptly ripped it into the net.’
