Fourth consecutive overtime results in second shootout loss

Source: LetsGoSabres.com

‘Some 2-1 games are entertaining. And while this one wasn’t necessarily a snoozer, it certainly started off as one. But the second, third and overtime periods changed that. Also adding to the lower ranking was a lack of power play time. Each team enjoyed just two man-advantage situations as the referees swallowed their whistles in order to keep the flow of the game at a constant pace.’
