As was pointed out to me numerous times, he was the 19th-leading scorer in the National Hockey League [with 80 points]. Lindy [Ruff] and the coaching staff rely on him for a lot of things, whether it’s power play, penalty killing, even strength, last minute. Coaches don’t hand those things out lightly. It’s a tremendous responsibility, and it’s one that he’s earned from the start.”’
