Blue Jackets Shut Out Sabres 3-0

Source: WGR-AM

'After no scoring in the first period, Columbus would get on the board as Michael Peca chipped in a rebound by Ryan Miller to give the Blue Jackets a 1-0 lead six and a half minutes into the second. The Sabres then got into penalty trouble and with Andrej Sekera already in the box for taking an interference penalty, Henrik Tallinder held up Rick Nash on a break that would turn into a penalty shot for Nash but Miller stood tall putting aside the wrist shot. Nash made sure to hit the back of the net during the same penalty to Sekera as he made it 2-0 with less than seven minutes left in the period.'
