Hecht Signs Four Year Extension

'The Sabres acquired Hecht from Edmonton on June 22, 2002, in exchange for the 31st and 36th picks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He was originally St. Louis’ first choice (2nd round, 49th overall) in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.'
