Passionate Sabres fans still hot over Emery's remarks about their city

Source: Ottawa Citizen

‘While Sabres players have generally avoided Emery-bashing, defenceman Brian Campbell, a former Ottawa 67, indirectly addressed the issue yesterday morning. “There’s lot to do here,” he said. “It’s a great city to raise a family. I just think you have to live in a city first, then make a judgment after. No, I’m not going to get involved in that stuff, but it’s a pretty proud city. They support things, whether it’s sports teams or the communities they live in. I would take that over a lot of things most days. It’s a nice atmosphere.”‘
