Sabres seek an end to their misery

Source: Buffalo News

'The Sabres have built their sterling reputation on skating, and the Penguins overwhelmed them much of the game. The Sabres mustered two shots in the second period and had four shots over a 34-minute, 19-second interlude that began late in the first period and lasted deep into the third. They had zero shots in overtime. “We’re a team that relies a lot on speed, and it just seemed we were flat,” Sabres co-captain Daniel Briere said. “These guys were blowing by us all night long, and it’s not just one or two guys. It was pretty much everybody.”'
